Ronald Alfred Goodwin (born, Plymouth, Devon, 17 February 1925 – died Newbury, 8 January 2003) was a British composer and conductor known for his film scores. Ron Goodwin's father was a policeman and he attended Willesden County School and Pinner County Grammar School, in Middlesex.
