Rosemary Banks

Rosemary Banks (born 1951) is a New Zealand diplomat, currently New Zealand's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York since 8 June 2005. Previously she served as deputy high commissioner to the Solomon Islands (1985-87), and Australia (1992-95). Banks graduated with an MA in Russian from the University of Canterbury, and received an MSc from the London School of Economics in the UK. She is married to Brian Lockstone.
