Roy Christian Tugbang is a 14 year-old bass-baritone. He is known for his Operatic-Pop or Popera style of singing, and his deep, rich baritone voice which is unusual for his age, as well as his many accomplishments that include being the 2006 Filipino Idol Toronto Grand Champion, recording the Team Italy soccer theme for the Fifa World Cup of Soccer 2006 in Germany, Semi-finalist at the Toronto Rising Star Young Talent Competition and a former member of The Juan Tomas Show Band in Toronto. He hosted his first solo concert on July 7,2007 titled "This Is The Moment Featuring Roy Tugbang" at the Vaughan City Playhouse, with guest performers Nick Palma, Grace Rodriguez, Zena Zagala, and Michael Magali and special appearance guest Candace Santos.
