The Royal Commonwealth Pool is the main swimming pool in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is usually simply referred to as the Commonwealth Pool, or colloquially as the Commie.
A long course (50m) pool, designed by RMJM, it was built for the 1970 Commonwealth Games, and it was used again in the 1986 games and will also host the Diving Competitions for the 2014 Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow. The pool cost $3.84 million to build in 1970.
