Ryan Hoag (born November 23, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American football wide receiver for the New York Sentinels of the United Football League. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the final pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, earning him the title of Mr. Irrelevant. He played college football at Gustavus Adolphus. Hoag has also been a member of the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins, Edmonton Eskimos and Jacksonville Jaguars. Hoag attended Washburn High School. Hoag lettered in football, track, soccer, and tennis at and was twice named all-conference and team captain in tennis, as well as an all-conference honoree in soccer.
