Narayan mentioned that children aged 6-14 worldwide can send recordings of their songs onto a CD if they wish to participate in the competition. Furthermore, on October 13, 2007, Narayan also added that Pritam and Sonu Nigam will be the judges of the show. However Pritam was later replaced by Suresh Wadkar.
