The group has a total of 50,000 employees and operates in 15 countries. 13 of its companies are also listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. The holding and its subsidiaries own more than 40% of Akbank,country's largest bank, and has operations in such markets as cars, cement, energy, retail, insurance, telecom, textiles, tires, plastic, hotels, paper and tobacco.
