Sam Aaron Baker

Samuel Aaron Baker (November 7, 1874 – September 16, 1933) was an American teacher and Republican politician from Jefferson City, Missouri. Born in 1874 in Patterson, Missouri, he served Missouri as the state superintendent of schools from 1919 to 1923 and was Governor of Missouri from 1925 until 1929. He died in 1933 in Jefferson City, Missouri, and is buried at the Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.
