Sandymount railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Dhumhach Thrá) serves Sandymount and Ballsbridge (including Simmonscourt) in Dublin, Ireland. There is a level crossing as the railway line crosses Sandymount Avenue. The station was reopened from a long period of closure with the electrification of Dublin suburban rail services - DART - in 1984; Sandymount Halt was originally opened in January 1835.
