Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo was born to Delfin Geronimo, a retired PLDT employee, and Divina, who ran a home beauty parlor in Sta. Cruz, Manila. Sarah is the third of four children. Geronimo's first performance on stage was a mall show at two years old. Sarah sang "Pasko Na Naman" with Pinky Marquez and Richard Reynoso. She was part of a children's show, Pen-pen de Sarapen, from 1992 through 1994, Ang TV from 1995 through 1996, and NEXT from 1996 through 1997.
