Young is best known for committing a crucial false start penalty in the closing minutes of a divisional playoff game between the Eagles and the New Orleans Saints on January 13, 2007. With 1:56 remaining in the game, Philadelphia was trailing by a score of 27-24, but had possession of the ball on its own 44-yard line, on fourth-down-and-ten to go. Eagles quarterback Jeff Garcia appeared to complete a pass to wide receiver Hank Baskett for a new first down. However, Young's false start penalty canceled the play and forced the Eagles back to their own 39-yard line with a fourth-down-and-fifteen.
