In 1664, the Manchurians defeat the Ming Dynasty and successfully conquer the Central Plains. The Qing Dynasty government issues a decree, ordering all pugilists within the realm to surrender and submit to the Imperial Court or face death and destruction. The Manchu army led by Prince Dokado and Nalan Xiuji are placed in charge of eradicating those who dare to defy the imperial order.
