While playing bridge with his daughter, a man named Henry has a seizure without realizing it (an absence seizure). Initially, it is assumed that he has testicular cancer, but Dr. House's team discovers an infection in his brain. The team assumes that the infection may be caused by a sexually transmitted infection, but Henry denies Dr. Foreman's questions about an active sex life because of his daughter's presence.
When Dr. House confronts Henry, he admits that he has been sleeping with his ex-wife, who is estranged from his daughter. As he attempts to explain his condition to his daughter, he begins to cough up blood, which cannot be attributed...
