Dr. Shaahin Filizadeh (in Persian: شاهین فیلیزاده) is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Manitoba. He is associated with the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Power Systems Simulation at the same institution. As an active member of the IEEE, he serves in a number of its technical task forces. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2004.
