Shaun Murphy (born 10 August 1982, Harlow, England) is an English professional snooker player who is the reigning UK Champion, and the 2005 World Champion. Murphy is noted for his widely acclaimed cue action and his consistent long potting. He is one of the few players who can play with his left hand as well as his right.
