Shinobu Hashimoto (Japanese: 橋本 忍, Hashimoto Shinobu) (born April 18, 1918) is a Japanese screenwriter, director, producer, and was a frequent collaborator with Akira Kurosawa. He has won some 16 awards for his writing including a succession of Blue Ribbon Awards particularly in the 1960s.
