Pu'er City (Chinese: 普洱市; pinyin: Pǔ'ěr Shì) is a prefecture-level city in Yunnan Province, China. The urban administrative center of Pu'er is Simao District, which is also the former name of the city itself. Pu-erh tea is a major product from this region.
