Sin After Sin is the third album by British heavy metal group Judas Priest, released in 1977. The album features session drummer Simon Phillips, as the band had recently parted ways with drummer Alan Moore.
The record features a cover of Joan Baez's "Diamonds & Rust". It was remastered in 2001, with two bonus tracks added. One of those tracks, "Race With The Devil", was originally intended to appear on the album in place of "Diamonds & Rust". Producer Roger Glover (of Deep Purple fame) convinced the band to include "Diamonds & Rust", saying that "[i]t would fit along with the rest of the album better." The title of the album is mentioned in the song "Genocide", a track from the band's previous album Sad Wings of Destiny....
