Sinn Féin (English pronunciation: /ˌʃɪnˈfɛɪn/, shin-FAYN, Irish: [ʃɪnʲ fʲeːnʲ]) is a left wing, Irish republican political party in Ireland. The name is Irish for "ourselves" or "we ourselves", although it is frequently mistranslated as "ourselves alone".
