Sir Thomas Parr

Sir Thomas Parr (c. 1483 – 11 November 1517) was an English nobleman from Kendal in Westmorland (now Cumbria). He is best known as the father of Queen Catherine Parr. He was the son of Sir William Parr of Kendal and Elizabeth Fitzhugh. He was descended from King Edward III of England.
