Siu Ta

Siu Ta is a Vietnamese Canadian actress and independent short film producer. Born in South Vietnam, she moved to Canada with her family at age seven. Siu Ta is a Vietnamese Canadian actress and independent short film producer. Born in South Vietnam, she moved to Canada with her family at age seven. A graduate of the University of Toronto majoring in drama, she has been steadily building a career in film and stage entertainment since her graduation. She is currently best known for her role on the CBC Television dramedy This is Wonderland as Nancy Dao, one of several recently-graduated attorneys learning the ropes of the trade in a firm specializing in legal aid casework in the Toronto court system. She is the subject of an on-line comic book biography by Cerebus artist Dave Sim, titled Siu Ta (so far). She also had a small role in the comedy/adventure movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle as Cindy Kim. She has most recently appeared as a major recurring character in the TV show The Best Years.
