The smooth tooth blacktip shark, Carcharhinus leiodon, is a species of requiem shark, family Carcharhinidae, known only from a single immature male caught in the Gulf of Aden by W. Hein in 1902. The locality of the holotype was given as "Gischin", which may be an old spelling or misspelling of Qishn in Yemen. Its specific epithet is from the Greek leios meaning "smooth", and odon meaning "tooth".

It superficially resembles the blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus), but differs from that species in having a moderately long, pointed snout. The teeth are narrow and erect, with concave margins and no serrations; the finetooth shark (Carcharhinus isodon) is the only other known species with narrow, smooth-edged upper teeth. The first dorsal fin is high and pointed, and there is no interdorsal ridge. The second dorsal fin is equal in size to the anal fin.
