Sorcha Cusack (Irish pronunciation: [ˈsɔɾə̆xə]) (born 9 April 1949 in Dublin) is an Irish actress. She is the daughter of the late Irish actors Cyril and Maureen Cusack, and sister of Sinéad Cusack, Niamh Cusack, and half sister to Catherine Cusack. She has also acted for radio, including a guest appearance in the BBC Radio 4 series Baldi. She recently played Helen Connor in Coronation Street; due to Sorcha's other acting commitments, the role of Helen will be played by Dearbhla Molloy from July 2009. less
