Of the 865 students 36% are economically disadvantaged and 16% Disabled. It is currently in a new building as of the 2007-2008 school year. The current residing principal is Joni Walker Sier. She has been principal for 5 complete semesters. She will be leaving after the 2008-2009 school year due to the superitendant, Dr. Lewis Holloway, refusing to renew her contract. (Please view the talk page for more information on this topic) The new principal will be Dr. Trey Robertson. He is currently the principal of the elementary school Mill Creek Elementary located in Statesboro, Georgia. Southeast Bulloch is part of the GHSA AA division. It currently has varsity sports in: soccer, basketball, football, baseball, softball, swimming, cheerleading, track and field/cross country, and tennis.
