Before one of the church holiday a thief Korkis (A. Ktorov) escapes from the prison and merges with the parish. He sees a vast amount of money that is settling in the clergymans pockets. Korkis can not hold out of another venture… Together with an accomplice (I.Ilyinsky) they conceive and realize a fraud to extract at least a small part of that money out of their pockets.
