The Stanford University School of Education (SUSE), is one of the seven schools of Stanford University. It is the second-oldest school of education in the United States, after NYU. Many prominent educational theories, policies, and inventions have come from, or been influenced by, the School of Education, including the Stanford-Binet IQ test and various LeapFrog products.
The School of Education was founded in 1891 as the Department of the History and Art of Education, and was one of the original twenty-one departments at the newly incorporated Stanford University.
