Star Rise is the last release by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook. It was released posthumously for Khan, as he died just before the album was due to be completed. Because of this the album is dedicated to the memory of him. The album is an album of remixes from the two previous Khan/Brook albums Mustt Mustt (1990) and Night Song (1996).
