Prior
to co-founding Gunderson Dettmer in 1995, Steve was an attorney with
Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. His practice focused on the
representation of private and public emerging growth companies, which
encompassed a variety of private financing transactions, public
offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Steve also represented a
number of venture capital firms in connection with their formation and
fundraising.

Education: JD from Boalt Hall, U.C. Berkeley in 1989 and an AB from U.C. Berkeley in 1983.
