Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, FRS (Tamil: சுப்பிரமணியன் சந்திரசேகர்), English: /ˌtʃʌndrəˈʃeɪkɑr/) (October 19, 1910 – August 21, 1995) was an Indian American astrophysicist.
