This movie is about a family that moves to a new town. The oldest boy in the family, Zach Sands, does not like living there and often goes off by himself. Once, when he was fishing, he accidentily fished up an old bracelet. This bracelet belonged to a girl named Susie Q. who died a number of years earlier in a car accident on the way to her Winter Formal. Zach and Susie can see and talk to each other because of the bracelet that Zach found. Zach's father died in a car accident so him and Susie have something in common.
