Tampere (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈtɑmpɛrɛ]  ( listen); Swedish: Tammerfors [tamərˈfɔrs] or [tamərˈfɔʂ]) is a city in southern Finland located between two lakes, Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi.
