From 1 October 2008, Tanaka Business School will be known as Imperial College Business School. It was designed by Foster and Partners and Buro Happold. It consists of a large cylindrical structure within the new entrance lobby to Imperial College. The entrance lobby has an ETFE roof. The business school building was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004. The new name shows more clearly that the School is an important and integral part of Imperial College.
