Tenafly ( /ˈtɛnəflaɪ/) is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 census, the borough population was 14,488. Tenafly is an affluent suburb of New York City. The first European settlers in Tenafly were the Dutch, who began to populate the area during the late 17th century.
