Terry Hayes is an English screenwriter and producer born on the 8 October 1951. In 2001, he was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best Screenplay for his work on From Hell. In Australia he is also famous for having written The Dismissal, a miniseries about the dismissal of the Australian Prime Minister Gough Whitlam by the Queen's representative in Australia.
