Terry Schmidt

Terry Richard Schmidt (born May 28, 1952 in Columbus, Indiana) was an American football cornerback in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. Terry Richard Schmidt (born May 28, 1952 in Columbus, Indiana) was an American football cornerback in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. He played college football at Ball State University where he was an All-American. He is the middle son of the late Richard Everett Schmidt (1925-2001) and Norma Caster Waggoner Schmidt (1928-1979.) He has two children from his first marriage to Deborah Ann Popke Schmidt Phillips, Jonathan Christman Schmidt (born 1976) and Jennifer Lindsay Schmidt Hampson (born 1979.) Dr. Schmidt is currently married to the former Nancy Chamberlain. He has two grandchildren, Madeline Patricia Hampson and Derek Robert Hampson.
