Adam and Joe first appeared on Channel 4 show Takeover TV in 1995. Adam presented at first, and Joe joined him later. Following this they created The Adam and Joe Show for the same channel. Following the fact that the show had previously been offered to fellow presenters of Takeover TV, a double act performing as Yeti & Mister Bunny… Many elements from the pilot of 'The Yeti & Mister Bunny Show' were incorporated in 'The Adam and Joe Show' such as the use of human mouths superimposed over toy characters, each having their own names written inanely on their own T shirts, the use of the term 'punk comedy' and general presenting style from a bedsit.
