The AFL version of the show airs twice each week:
In Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania The AFL Footy Show is aired. The alternate version of Thursday's NRL Footy Show would then go to air later that Thursday night. The alternate show on Sunday is not aired in addition to the regularly scheduled version.
As of 2008 The AFL Footy Show could be seen live into most New South Wales and Queensland TV markets via the Nine HD channel.
