Spider-Man and Blade put aside their differences in an attempt to prevent Morbius from using the Neogenic Recombinator to transform everyone into vampires. They team with Lt. Terri Lee, whom falls for Blade. Morbius kidnaps Aunt May, followed by Felicia Hardy planning her to be the first whom he transforms using the Recombinator. At the end of the episode, after Spider-Man and Blade rescue Felicia, Morbius is transformed in to a bat-like creature as of his mutation.
Many fans have commented that when Morbius turns into the human bat by the end of the episode, he kind of looks like the Man-Bat, a villain of Batman. Blade's romance with Terry Lee didn't prove to be considered noticeable among viewers. The episode has been reviewed to be arguably unsuccessful according to the production plan.
