The Little Sweep is an opera for children in three scenes by the English composer Benjamin Britten with a libretto by Eric Crozier. It was first performed at the Aldeburgh Festival on 14 June 1949. It originally formed part of a longer "entertainment for young people" called Let's Make an Opera, the first part of which was a spoken play showing the cast rehearsing the opera.
