The Living End is an Australian rock band based in Melbourne, Victoria. They formed in 1994 and the current lineup consists of Chris Cheney (vocals, guitar), Scott Owen (double bass, vocals) and Andy Strachan (drums). The band rose to fame in the late 1990s after the release of their double A-side single, "Second Solution/Prisoner of Society".
