"The Maquis" is a two-part episode from the second season of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The Maquis, and their dissatisfaction with the Federation, would recur in future episodes such as "For the Cause", "For the Uniform", and "Blaze of Glory". It would also serve as an important element in the pilot episode of Star Trek: Voyager, "Caretaker", and in several episodes of that series' run.
