Elizabeth's father, Paul threatens Ross that if he still dates his daughter, then he will report to the university and get him fired for dating a student. Keeping their relationship a secret from Paul, Ross and Elizabeth plan a romantic weekend in Paul's country house. Elizabeth leaves for a while to get protection. Surprisingly, Rachel and Paul also planned a getaway there and arrive, leading Ross to hide under the couch. Elizabeth comes back and is also shocked to see her father. Both she and Rachel (who also discovered Ross) twist the events so that Ross is able to hide himself in Paul's bedroom. Unfortunately, Paul enters the same room.
Paul, unaware that Ross is watching him, stands before a mirror and begins to encourage himself by saying that Rachel thinks he is a "neat guy" and that he is a "love machine", and then leaves the...
