"Perfect Castaway" is an episode from the fourth season of the FOX animated series Family Guy. The episode was scheduled to air on September 11, 2005, but was pushed back a week out of sensitivity to Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita victims (since this episode focuses on Peter being presumed dead after a hurricane hits his boat). When Peter and the guys decide to go fishing, they end up caught in a storm. Stranded on a desert island, their families fear the worst. Rescued by a cruise ship months later, Peter suprises Lois at home, where he finds out that she has a new husband, she married Brian, and that Brian supports the family by working as a salesman at a Hummer dealership.
To get food to feed his family, Peter goes in search of fish at Pelican's Reef at the suggestion of Seamus the old salt, with his friends tagging along for the free beer.
