It tells the story of a woman named Allison (Wührer) who has come into possession of The Lexicon, a mysterious book of prophecies that writes itself. Satan (Light), intent on preventing the book from getting into the hands of one of the demons (Belial), seeks the help of a cop, whose sister (Wührer) at present has the book with her. The film was the first in the series not to star Christopher Walken.
