The Scarlet Flower (Russian: Аленький цветочек, Alenkiy tsvetochek) is a 1952 Soviet traditionally-animated feature film directed Lev Atamanov. It was produced at the Soyuzmultfilm studio in Moscow and is based on the story of the same name by Sergei Aksakov. The story is basically a variation of the tale Beauty and the Beast.
