Only two months after its release, the album reached Gold status in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium and in mid-2005 also in Finland.
On August 5th, 2008, The Silent Force along with Mother Earth were released in the United States on Roadrunner Records.
In an interview on Buzznet, lead singer Sharon den Adel discussed the title of the album.
