The Simpsons 10th Season DVD was released on August 7, 2007 in Region 1, September 10, 2007 in Region 2 and September 26, 2007 in Region 4. The DVD was released in two different forms: a Bart-shaped head, to match the Homer, Marge, Maggie and Lisa shaped heads from the four previous DVD sets, and also a standard rectangular shaped box. Like the previous DVD sets, both versions are available for sale separately.
The tenth season saw the start of the new XABFXX production code, which as of 2009 is still in use; there were four hold-over episodes from the season 9 (5F) production line.
