The Tune, Bill Plympton's first Animated Feature, premiered September 4, 1992 at The Sundance Film Festival. Although the film did not enjoy the success that I Married a Strange Person (1997) or Hair High (2004) later would, the movie opened new doors for Plympton in the animation realm.
