She edited numerous films since the late 1960s and 1970s, including the cult film Death Race 2000 (1975) and the sequels More American Graffiti (1979) and Airplane II: The Sequel (1982). In the 1980s she received the opportunity to work for producer Steven Spielberg, editing the "It's a Good Life" sequence in Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) and then Gremlins (1984). She directed the film Munchies, cited as similar to the latter.
