Todd Blackburn

PFC Todd Blackburn was an Army ranger injured at the Battle of Mogadishu on October 3 1993 when he was attempting to fast-rope down to the street below to begin the assault. As he was going down, he lost his grip, and fell to the street below, sustaining severe injuries to his back, legs, and neck. He was immediately med-evaced out of the area back to Task Force Ranger HQ at Mogadishu airfield.
